If the year-end crunch and seasonal chaos is starting to bog you down, please take a moment to decompress with this delightful treat: an augmented reality Fartjacker.
Available from Monday for free on iTunes, the app allows users to capture friends and family spewing gas bombs of nuclear proportions, marshmallowy SBD-style puffs and even rainbow toots. The film here gives you a taste of the flatulent fun you can have at your upcoming seasonal gatherings -- perhaps the perfect visual complement to any real-world goings on in your gut after you stuff your face with too much gingerbread, mashed potatoes and burritos.
The idea came out of the AR experimentation by the company's director of immersive content, Mike Woods, and staffer Gabe Jacobs, one of the farters in the film.
This is the most sophomoric, yet utterly enjoyable creation we've seen from production company M ss ng P eces, which is better known for more thoughtful fare like a recent campaign memorializing lives lost to the opioid epidemic, or edgier stuff like this film about RapCaviar's hip-hop sculptures.
