Tributes to 'Mean Girls,' 'Casablanca' and More

Editor's Pick

Film fans will surely appreciate this campaign by McDonald's McCafe for its sponsorship of this year's Toronto Film Festival. The brand has recreated some classic movie scenes -- only, as animations using coffee beans.

The films, by Cossette, include a rehash of Mean Girls entitled "Bean Girls," where a teabag gets picked on, an "American Beauty" tribute renamed "Americano Beauty," a traumatised coffee bean named Clarice in the "Silence of the Lattes," and "Cafeblanca," a homage to "Casblanca" in which the Ingrid Bergman bean meets a rather gruesome end.

The videos will run on McDonald's Canada YouTube and Facebook, for the duration of the festival, until September 18th.
