McDonald's (Canada): How McD's Makes World Famous Fries

Fries, unmasked!

Editor's Pick

McDonald's Canada gets transparent about where its fries come from -- right off the bat, we'll tell you they're "made with real potatoes" -- in the latest film from its "Our Food Your Questions" campaign out of Tribal DDB Toronto.

The whole process looks straightforward, save for the the addition of "dextrose" and a mysterious non-greying ingredient. But still, it's nice to see Mickey D's get transparent and truthful about what actually goes into its food. After all, is there anybody in the world left who thinks the (delicious) fries are totally natural?

See another video from the series on the right, and check out the campaign's website for more.
