In the summer of 2015, a homeless boy named Daniel Cabrera captured hearts around the world when a picture of him studying under the lights of a Golden Arches restaurant appeared on social media. Medical student Joyce Torrefranca had spotted him while taking a break from her own studies and was so moved to upload his image to her Facebook page. The image went viral and ended up earning Daniel donations from around the world, as well as an allowance from McDonald's that will support him until he reaches high school.

Today, Daniel is in the top ten of his third grade class, and McDonald's helped him return the favor to Joyce, with a surprise visit and meal from the restaurant. Their reunion is captured in this touching film from Leo Burnett Manila and produced out of Filmex. It's a reminder that the spirit of giving should be kept alive not just during the holiday season, but all year long.

Like the original picture, the new film is going viral too, and 48 hours after it debuted on December 12, it's racked up more than 1.8 million views and 94 thousand likes on Facebook, as well as more than 1.2 million views on YouTube.
