Party co-founder Morihiro Harano just launched his latest project, for Menicon's Magic, a new type of contact lens that come encased in what could be the flattest packaging yet. Harano teamed with Menicon on the naming, communications and package design of Magic, which comes wrapped in a sleeve that's just 1 mm thick--without that saline-filled bubble that traditionally holds lenses. When Magic's packaging is opened, the 1-day wear lens pops up like the sun, an idea that's reflected in the product's fun package design and promotions, including a website featuring Magic "Moments" and pinball, shooting and racing games.
