Freddie Mercury becomes an Angry Bird.

Editor's Pick

Queen's iconic late singer Freddie Mercury has been immortalized as an Angry Bird by the game's makers Rovio. Mercury, who died in 1991, would have turned 66 on September 5th.

Together with Universal Music, Rovio has made a video (depicting the Freddie bird cycling along with various other birds to Queen's I Want to Ride My Bicycle) in support of the annual Freddie for a Day campaign, which celebrates the singer and raises funds for HIV/AIDS charity Mercury Phoenix Trust. Social media agency Outside Line put the project together on behalf of the Mercury Phoenix Trust. Last year, it collaborated with Google on a Mercury doodle.
