'Doctor Who' Star David Tennant Plays God In Microsoft's Kinect Sports

Scottish Actor Will Talk Players Through How To Create Their Digitized Face

Editor's Pick

Actor David Tennant is lending his distinctive Scots voice to Microsoft's Kinect Sports Rivals for Xbox One, which launches next month. Tennant, who came to fame as the tenth Dr. Who and is also an acclaimed stage actors in the U.K., will talk players through the process of creating their digital face, or "Champion," within the game (or, as he puts it, act as "the voice of God"). Players will be able to use their own digitized selfie on their avatar in the game. Here, Tennant confesses he's not exactly a video game expert -- although he does remember "Pong."
