What is it about Philly, ads and desserts? Some time ago we covered a great two-bit campaign for the city's only Polish bakery. Now we've got a POS campaign "designed to lure customers into an elegant Rittenhouse Square shop selling French pastries, breads, chocolate, candies and ice creams created by chef Robert Bennett, who's baked for Sigourney Weaver, M. Night Shyamalan, Ronald Reagan and the British royal family," explains Tierney Communications ACD Terese Zeccardi. "We thought he deserved a look that was distinctive yet naughty, so art director Holly Fiss created graphics that just might remind you of an elegant French bordello. After all, our primary target is women, and women often feel about pastry the same way they feel about sex: Can I? Should I? Do I dare? These posters say yes."
