Junkyard Jumbotron is a project from the MIT Center for Future Civic Media. Essentially, it has created software so that laptops or phones can be ganged together to form a large display. Anyone can take part, and participants can email their own pictures to become part of the virtual screen. Go to the website to find out how to take part.
