Tokyo creative shop TeamLab, which recently created this gorgeous moving mural for Tokyo%u2019s SkyTree tower, brings interactive, projection mapping fun to a water softener, of all things. The agency created a video that integrates mesmerizing, moving visuals to a pair of dancing girls, accompanied by an all-human soundtrack from a trio of beatboxers, all to promote Mirura’s UltraPure Soft Water. The dazzling imagery, along with the realtime vocals are meant to illustrate the purity of the water world inside Miura.

To create the scene, the agency used mocap sensors to track the dancer’s movements, onto which projection mapping visuals were rendered in real time within a specially constructed studio. As you can see in the video, the projections don’t just move according to the camera angle, but also along with the dancers’ moves. Check out more of how this was done in the Behind the Scenes video.
