He-Man and Skeletor Reprise 'Dirty Dancing' in Latest 'Epic' Ad From U.K.'s MoneySupermarket

Another 80s Homage From the Price Comparison Website

Editor's Pick

Having reintroduced the world to He-Man and Skeletor in its previous spot, the U.K.price comparison site MoneySupermarket.com (whose ads, by Mother, have been phenomenally popular on YouTube), reunites the two in follow-up.

This time, the previous arch-enemies, who are still feeling "epic" having saved on their insurance, take to the dance floor in a recreation of "Dirty Dancing." The music is, of course, "(I've Had) The Time of My Life", the Oscar-winning Bill Medley and Jennifer Warnes track, and their moves include the famous lake lift.

It's silly stuff, but bound to appeal, like the previous spots, to the target middle-aged audience who were around to love "Dirty Dancing" in 1987.

The ad is once again by Mother London, and was directed by The Bobbsey Twins from Homicide, via Blink.
