MPU: Snake the Planet

Sydney projection mapping specialist Mobile Projection Unit (MPU) created an 'urban canvas' for the classic mobile game Snake with the help of Publicis Mojo and Finch. Windows, doors and signs in urban environments become the boundaries and obstacles in the game as animated objects collide with and bounce off them using real-time physics simulation. The three Australian companies hope to turn the experience into an iPad application, with plans to eventually release the code as open source.
