Over in Romania, MRM/McCann Bucharest is hiring -- and has come up with a hilarious way to publicize its recruitment drive. The agency is asking creatives to nominate their rivals, ex-lovers and other industry nemeses at Let Romania Take Him Away -- a site where they can helpfully ship these people direct to Bucharest. The site lets you choose from several creative types, then type in the name of the person and upload their resume or LinkedIn profile.
Cruel? Well, no. MRM does a good job of explaining on the site why you might actually be doing that person, as well as the agency, a favor. "Your enemy would work for a Eurobest and Cannes Lion-awarded agency with four Webby Awards, 21 Golden Drums and many more," it says, while pointing out that Coca-Cola, Vodafone, Honda and Unilever are among the agency's clients. We also hear Romania's very beautiful.
