Goodby Silverstein & Partners and the National Audobon Society bring bird-watching online with a new campaign that places animated bird species across dozens of homepages like and Slate. Players go through the Facebook appto find the exotic species on donated media space.

The campaign is timed to coincide with the release of The Big Year, a film about a bird watching competition.

Players can follow @FloridaScrubJay and @RufHummingbird on Twitter to get hints on where to find these birds. People can spot birds across websites, blogs and social networks and also swap hints and trade bird cards. The first players to collect all the birds will win prizes, including a trip to the Galapagos Islands, cameras and binoculars.
