Kidney-Shaped Cartoon Characters Answer Nature's Call in a Ditty Promoting Pee Tests

National Kidney Foundation Campaign Is Reminiscent of 'Dumb Ways to Die'

This spot from the U.S. National Kidney Foundation is reminiscent of Metro Trains' Dumb Ways to Die, but without the gruesome humor. Instead it's more of a sunny, cute ditty, reminding us that "everybody pees" through a series of kidney-shaped cartoon characters answering the call of nature in amusing ways -- in space, in the pool, in the Arctic, in a horrible gas station toilet, and so forth.

Publicis Lifebrands Medicus created the ad, and a campaign website, to encourage people to screen for kidney problems via urine tests.
