A kidnapping plot is brewing on NBC, but the network is letting viewers of the upcoming drama series Kidnapped know exactly where to find the victim: on the web. Through a compelling narrative experience created by online marketing agency Jetset Studios, visitors to the show's website are introduced to the plot in a sequence of interactive clips before delving into the personal histories of the entire cast of characters, including kidnapping victim Leo Cain and private investigator Knapp. Working directly with the series' creators, Jetset fabricated magazine articles, psychiatric evaluations, handwritten letters, MySpace profiles and other bonus materials to help viewers guess along as the mystery unfolds on their television screens.
