Nestle Purina is encouraging Facebook fans to let their dog play a starring role in a version of its new Pro Plan TV commercial, Great, by Leo Burnett/Arc. Visitors to the Great Videos section of its Facebook page can upload footage of their own pooch and it'll be added to the footage of 'great' dogs in the video, which they can then share. The official version of the ad (shown here) airs tonight during the 136th Westminster Kennel Club Dog Show. As a side note, the original music for the TV spot was written and performed by Leo Burnett/Arc VP, creative director, Tony Rogers.
Purina has also launched an interactive mobile website as part of the campaign, where dog lovers can find out more about their breeds and what they can do.
