Neurowear: Shippo

Bionic cosplay?

Editor's Pick

Here's the latest innovation in mind control toys. Japanese company Neurowear (makers of Necomini, ears that reflect your mood) has added to its portfolio with Shippo--a wearable fluffy bunny-type "tail" that you can wear to convey your emotions. As with Necomimi, a neural app reads your mood, and the tail moves in different ways according to whether you're relaxed (in which case it moves slowly); concentrating (hard and fast); happy (wags vigorously) or sad (droops). You can also share your mood and location on a mobile app that goes with it.

While not yet commercially available, the prototype tail can be seen in this video--which also shows what happens to the tail when the wearer falls in love. If you like to keep your feelings to yourself, this probably isn't one for you.
