The New York Lottery is promoting the one in nine odds of its daily draw game, Take 5, with a new spot in the style of a Hollywood medieval epic (think "King Arthur" or similar) but with a Monty Pythonesque twist.

The ad shows a group of knights assembled in a forest. A messenger comes to tell them the size of the enemy they're facing. "Two, maybe three...hundred thousand?" he ventures. What's more, they have catapults, and really big dragons. Their leader suggests they could go and fight them--or they could just play the Take 5 game, where they have a one in nine chance of winning.

The spot was created by McCann New York and directed by MJZ's Tom Kuntz.
