The talented illustrator Noma Bar, an alum of our Creativity 50, provides the graphics for this ad for New York Prebysterian, which broke in the pre-game slot before the Super Bowl on Sunday.
The spot, created out of Seiden Advertising, uses beautiful, spare animated graphics to explain the role of T-Cells in our immune system, and how cancer can sneak past them. It then goes on to illustrate how New York Prebysterian is working to understand this and treat cancer patients. It's an incredibly powerful way of, as the spot says, "unmasking a killer" and explaining some complex medical research to a lay audience.
The ad retains New York Prebysterian's tagline "Amazing Things Are Happening Here," also featured in ongoing spots by Seiden and previously, Munn Rabot, which used unscripted testimonial-style interviews with patients.
