The Super Bowl Ad Newcastle Brown Would Have Made

Beer Brand Hilariously Ambushes The Super Bowl Teaser

Published on Jan 23, 2014

Editor's Pick

If you can't do a Super Bowl ad yourself, why not do a teaser that wittily ambushes other brands' efforts? Newcastle Brown Ale and agency Droga 5 bring you the teaser for the trailer for the Super Bowl ad they would have made, if they could afford it; the beer ad "that would have changed the world...of beer ads". With its epic-sounding background music, pronouncements about how much beer Newcastle would have sold and even an interruption in proceedings, it's a funny piss-take of the whole Super Bowl teaser phenomenon. As well as the video there's a website, ifwemadeit.com, where more content is yet to be revealed (for example, coming soon is: Focus Groups React To Our Mega Huge Ad).
