Nike is claiming to have created the world's first 3D-printed football bag for the FIFA World Cup, which kicks off today in Brazil. The Rebento duffle bag -- its name is Portuguese for "explode" -- will be given out to certain privileged players (including Ronaldo and Rooney) but sadly it's not available ( as yet) to ordinary consumers. According to Deezen, Nike 3D-printed the mesh covering of the bag using laser-sintered nylon, in a pattern referencing the stud plate on the base of the brand's Flyknit boots. The players will also be given a pair of 3D-printed shin guards.
