Nike Introduces Hypervenom With Deadly New Spot

Wieden + Kennedy brings Nike's latest creation to life with this new spot. In it, textured and exotically colored soccer cleats take on the characteristics of some of nature's deadliest creatures. The camera and viewer share a single perspective, as the ad focuses on the footwear alone. Initially, it sits on the floor placidy, but as background sounds of hissing and rattling get louder, increasing a sense of foreboding, the back of the shoe morphs into a scorpion tail. The laces that previously lay dormant, rise as snakes and the Nike Hypervenom, as the cleat is appropriately named, is set to strike.
