Car Maker Turns Ad's Social Media Element Into a Physical Memento

Nissan followed up its Super Bowl spot celebrating fathers by turning the social media element, its #WithDad hashtag, into a physical memento. Over 11,000 people shared their #WithDad photos during the game, and after picking the most inspiring & creative ones, agency TBWA / Chiat / Day L.A. teamed up with San Francisco-based startup Social Print Studio to surprise about 100 people by offering to print and deliver a framed version of their #withdad photo, for free. The initiative has resulted in more goodwill towards the brand via Instagram and Twitter.
