Every year hundreds of hopefuls submit their creative work in the hopes of being recognized at the Cannes Lions International Festival of Creativity. Newcomers wish to get a nod and veterans seek confirmation that they've still got it. The fact is, however, that not every creative comes out a winner.

The losses are hard and the grief is great, which is why Milan-based creative Giovanni Greco built "Cannes Lions - 5 stages of grief." Upon seeing that his submissions had not been shortlisted, Greco got to work creating the tumblr page and launched it on Sunday-- after the festival had concluded. Who knows? His cathartic exercise may prove helpful to others.
