Omaha Steaks knows the way to a man's heart is through his stomach. The company wants you to send Dad some steak for Father's Day, and it has found a charming way to convey that message.
A series of spots directed by documentary filmmaker Errol Morris ("The Thin Blue Line") interviews fathers and their children about their relationships, generating some very human responses that make us feel emotionally warm about the brand. The only mention of steak is at the very end. Omaha said research shows 80% of men would rather receive a T-Bone than a tie for Father's Day (although we could have easily asked our guy friends that). The brand has also launched a website, Remarkable Dads, where people can share stories about their fathers.
