Charged with naming the new model for the Opel Corsa, agency Gitam BBDO in Israel went the easy route: It named the car after whoever bought it. Aimed at the younger demographic, the campaign was borne from the insight that young people love their cars almost as much as they love themselves -- so why not make it personal? The car was launched online, and buyers were given special metal decals to spell out their own names on the car's rear end. When the first car was sold, the new owner became part of a radio ad shilling the new model.
