Oreo: The History Print

History in Black and White.

Published on Mar 06, 2012

Editor's Pick

A wonderfully creative campaign from DraftFCB NY & Paris and Oreo, to celebrate the cookie brand's 100th anniversary, includes some nice print work that broke in People Magazine's Oscar issue. It uses the cookie and a glass to recreate historical moments from the past 100 years. Above is one of 17 images, which represents the first man on the moon.

It will also appear on a billboard in Times Square. The campaign includes "Commute," a television spot directed by Erroll Morris that shows kids helping adults get some fun in their lives. See more of the images below, which capture moments like Prohibition, PacMan, the invention of the Yo-Yo, and more.
