Paddy Power: Go To Work

Stadium-size miracles from the bookmaker.

Editor's Pick

Jesus Christ is a super star in a controversial new campaign for online bookmaker Paddy Power. In an attempt to break into the Italian market, the brand has debuted a pair of cheeky spots, including one starring Jesus performing some "modern-day" miracles. A second ad shows overpaid football stars putting their muscles to more useful work.

The ads were created out of Crispin Porter + Bogusky London and directed by Hungry Man's Brian Billow and are the first for Paddy Power in Italy, a predominantly Catholic country that hasn't taken too well to the ad, with most of its major networks pulling it off the air. Paddy Power last made waves during the Olympics, with an ambush campaign it ran in London.
