Yes, turn your mouse left. Now right. Now move it all around like Picasso would. That's basically what a software created by AlmapBBDO for the Panamericana School of Art & Design did, just without the annoying instructions.

To reach prospective students that probably had never taken an art course, the school and AlmapBBDO created a software that turns your mouse into a paint brush. Movements you make during the course of the session are turned into art, which you can only see at the end of the session. Users can upload the artwork into an online gallery, or print it, while works could also be voted for, with the most popular ones used as as ads for the campaign and in an art exhibition.

The school saw a 35% increase in new admissions, with some new students coming from fields like medicine and law, who probably discovered a new passion because of the software.
