As part of its launch for Panasonic Viera 3D TVs, McCann-Erickson brought 3D to real life in this interactive outdoor campaign, Out of the TV Into the City. The agency "pulled" iconic entertainment characters from a giant TV and sent them into the streets. The campaign released clues about the characters' whereabouts over SMS, radio and Facebook, and players were challenged to shoot them on their phones and upload the pics to a dedicated site.
