Good Enough to Drink, but Good Enough to Wear?

Editor's Pick

In case you missed it, in December, the Pantone Color Institute announced its color of the year, Marsala, describing it as "a naturally robust and earth wine red" that "enriches our minds, bodies and souls." Marsala marks the company's 15th year of predicting the color it deems will be the go-to shade for designers and creative-types.

While celebrities like Taylor Swift have jumped right in to the brownish-red hue, others, including New York Magazine's The Cut and Gizmodo, aren't as enthusiastic, describing it as "icky" or like "boxed wine."
