People For Good: Bus

Do Canadians really need to be any nicer?

Editor's Pick
Toronto agency Zulu Alpha Kilo and Media Experts partnered with a number of media agencies to co-found a social movement in the Land of the Nice, a.k.a, Canada that encourages people to be nicer to each other.

In a series of television spots, outdoor ads and posters, the campaign highlights all the ways people can be nicer to each other -- like giving up a parking spot or a seat on the subway. The television spots highlight how rare common courtesy has become, with the tagline, "If Good Deeds Were More Common, They Wouldn't Stand Out as Much." The spots and ads point you to the campaign's site,, where good deeds are collected, shared and featured.

The campaign also features an iPad app that throws out suggestions like "Start up a non work-related conversation" when shaken or tapped.

There's also plenty of online conversation with people tweeting out the good deeds they did today along with the hashtag #peopleforgood.
