A simple slogan can go far when it's let loose into the world of social media. That's what's happened with the Philippines Department of Tourism's latest campaign, created in partnership with BBDO Guerrero Manila. The campaign boasts the simple slogan that "It's more fun in the Philippines" (which critics complain reads a little too closely to a 1951 push for Switzerland.)
However, the viral trajectory of the newer effort is hard to ignore. Filipinos and fans of the country have started to post their own additions to the campaign with a growing list of what's "more fun in the Philippines." Check out the website for the original ads, while others are crafting their own posts on Twitter and posting their own creations on a Facebook page.
