Exchanging Money Is Magic in This U.K. Post Office Stunt

Agency MullenLowe Employed Magic Circle Magicians to Wow Customers

Editor's Pick

To promote its travel money services ahead of the summer vacation season, the U.K.'s Post Office hired magicians to hand out bank notes to real-life customers in a London branch.

The stunt, conceived and filmed by agency MullenLowe, saw real magicians, including The Magic Circle Magician Of The Year Brendan Rodrigues, posing as Post Office employees behind the priority Travel Money counter on May 6. Customers look amazed and delighted as they use sleight of hand to convert pounds into foreign currency, and it's hard for viewers not to smile as they watch it too.

It'll run on social media, with the aim of raising awareness of how easy it is to obtain foreign currency at Post Office branches.
