Pride in London is to run its first ever TV ads this year, marking 50 years since the U.K. started legalizing homosexuality.

Four powerfully scripted films will be shown during a special season of programmes on Channel 4 which marks the anniversary of the the Sexual Offences Act 1967. Created by WCRS and directed by Fred Scott at Pulse, the ads focus on four people apologizing to their loved ones for judging them over their sexuality. A father apologizes to his gay son, a young man to his trangender schoolfriend, a woman to a bisexual friend and a mother to her lesbian daughter. A 60 second version of the ads, seen here, combines all their stories, and there will also be a 90 second version running in cinemas.

The films will air on Channel 4 and More 4 from June 24 to July 9 in the run up to pride season which reaches its climax on 8 July with pride marches taking place across the U.K.
