Prometheus: Ligne 9 - 2

A Prometheus stop on the Parisian subway.

Passengers on line 9 of the Parisian metro are in for a treat. A mysterious station sign appeared on the route map, between Strasbourg-St. Denis and Republic, where the former St. Martin station used to be.

The sign indicates that the station is now the Prometheus station, a nod to the upcoming Ridley Scott film starring Noomi Rapace and Michael Fassbender. As people pass through the 'station,' they catch a glimpse of the cavewhere the crew of the Prometheus supposedly find the origins of humanity. The train doesn't stop at the station, which has been closed since 1939, but it does seem to slow down a bit, so passengers can look out of the windows and see the exhibit. Check out the YouTube video from a passenger here, and here's hoping we see one of these in other cities soon.
