And while the German shoemaker would probably advise against literally sticking its footwear into your mouth, the Mongolian Shoe BBQ section of Puma.com serves up a palatable alternative: the chance to design and buy a personalized pair of kicks, made from your own choice of cooked-to-order ingredients. A tastier version of Nike iD, if you will. Upon entering the Flash representation of a Mongolian BBQ restaurant, visitors fill their tray with 20 ingredients (i.e. shoe components) gleaned from a well-stocked buffet table. The ingredients are then sent to the chef, who cooks up a unique pair of sneakers just for you. Of course, then there's the matter of paying the check...
