Purina/Jenny Craig: Project Pet Slim Down

Weight loss campaigns are a no-brainer for January but here's one with an interesting new twist. Nestle's Purina petfood brand teamed up with slimmers association Jenny Craig for a campaign, through Colle +McVoy, to encourage both you and your dog to slim down - canine obesity being a problem for more than half of pets in the US, according to the companies.

At the Project Pet Slim Down website, both human slimmers and their canine partners enroll as a resolution to lose weight. Special discounts will be available through Purina and Jenny Craig for those who register, and there are also exercise tips for you and your pet.
