What Are These Flamingoes Doing in a Buenos Aires Bar?

Argentina's Quilmes Launches Its First Pre-Mixed Cocktail With a Colorful Spot

Published on Dec 01, 2014

Editor's Pick

Argentina's favorite beer brand Quilmes has fun with flamingoes in this colorful spot out of Madre Buenos Aires (the Argentine arm of Mother) launching its Mixxtail Mojito pre-mixed cocktail. Ecologists had better look the other way as the birds leave their natural habitat and flock to a bar serving the drink, where -- after looking kind of threatening -- they start to party with the humans.

Mixxtail Mojito cocktail is the first in a line of pre-mixed cocktails from Quilmes, the country's leading beer brand dating back to 1888 and now owned by Anheuser-Busch InBev. Quilmes is known for its quirkily memorable commercials, including a previous spot where rival beer brands grow legs and migrate to Argentina to pay tribute to Quilmes.
