Quilted Northern Created Mini Pop-Up Stores to Celebrate National Toilet Paper Day

Brand Held a Special Amazon Sale in Honor of 'Forgettable' Holiday

Who knew that last Friday, Aug. 26, was National Toilet Paper Day? Well, Quilted Northern did, and to mark it, the brand put on a special sale on Amazon. Together with agency Droga5, which also created the humorous film seen here, celebrating the "forgettable" holiday, it offered a one day sale allowing customers to save up to 45% on Amazon Subscribe & Save.

To promote them, Droga5 also created miniature bricks and mortar pop-up stores in New York and Seattle, built in the style of the neighborhoods. Passers-by could even feel the fresh burst of air conditioning as they stuck their hands inside the automated doors of the mini Quilted Northern pop-up shops. The idea was to direct them to Amazon to save on their online order.

National Toilet Paper may be over, but you can still see the miniature stores online at supercoolquiltednorthernpopupstore.com -- where you can take 360 degree tours.
