As part of a digital campaign for Resident Evil: Retribution, digital agency Avatar Labs has created a mock website for the sinister Umbrella Corporation, featured in the film. It allows fans to "join" the Umbrella Corporation and create a custom corporate ID badge as well as containing information about Umbrella Corporation drawn from both the film and game series' lore. Fans that enter their employee ID number get access to a secret video featuring star Milla Jovovich warning of the dangers of Umbrella.

The digital campaign also includes a movie website, built in HTML5; online games including Street Invasion, which uses Google Maps to place the player on real streets around the world as they try to survive a zombie invasion; and an interactive YouTube mimic page that features Jovovich breaking out of the site and allows the user to take control of her character.
