While we may know Rhett and Link best for their quirky, hilarious ads for local and small businesses, recently, the guys have gotten into doing middle school musical-themed recaps of pop culture blockbusters like Star Trek: Into Darkness and Man of Steel. And now, perhaps most appropriately, the pair applies the device to AMC's Breaking Bad, which, of course, begins its final season on Sunday and revolves around the story of Walter White, the high school teacher who became a meth cooker/dealer/kingpin, first out of necessity and then, because he ends up really, really liking it. The film is part of YouTube's fun Geek Week event.
The casting here is quite impressive, especially when it comes to the Aaron Paul mini me who plays Walt's partner in crime Jesse, with his spot-on interjections of "Yo!" and the guy who plays rival drug lord Gus--the spitting younger image of actor Giancarlo Esposito. The directors even manage to throw in a hilarious cameo of the wheelchair-bound foe Tio Salamanca and make the crystal meth look really, really cute.
