Samsung Outlet Decals Remind People They Don't Have to Be Wallhuggers

Airport OOH Effort Riffs off Popular TV Spot

Editor's Pick

The idea behind Samsung's Galaxy "Wallhuggers" spot, which starred a bunch of frustrated, power-deprived iPhone users, got a real-life extension via this clever outdoor decal effort. The brand has placed wall stickers around power outlets at airports including New York's JFK, Chicago's O'Hare and Midway. Like the spot, the decals remind users that if they had a Samsung, they wouldn't have to stick close to the walls, given the Galaxy S 5's power saving mode.

Hopefully, Samsung users will avoid recharging at the branded outlets.
