This Talking Fridge Will Try to Persuade You to Buy It

In Singapore, Samsung Gets the Product to Do the Sales Talk

Editor's Pick

In Sinagapore, Samsung has replaced sales people in a store with a product -- a talking refrigerator -- that's capable of its own sales pitch. Agency Cheil Worldwide Singapore rigged up a T9000 refrigerator with motion sensors that activate a voice-playback system which can tell if any of the interior compartments have been touched by a curious shopper. The voice talks the shopper through the fridge's individual features and benefits, while an integrated mobile app provides even more product information.
