Hang on to This Robot, Get a Trip Through Italy

San Pellegrino and Ogilvy N.Y. Let You Spend 'Three Minutes in Italy'

Published on Aug 09, 2013

Editor's Pick

Want to visit Sicily? Forget the airfare. Beverage brand San Pellegrino has put a life-sized robot in Taormina, Italy, all day today. Ogilvy New York and digital producer Deeplocal worked together to let users on Facebook take control of the traveling robot, drive him around the town and even talk to passers-by. Each robot's "face" will be a screen that will display the user's face.

The project goes from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. EST today, on Facebook.
