Artist David Shrigley was behind this short film promoting Save the Arts, a UK organization dedicated to prevent the slashing of government funds supporting British art culture.

Shrigley is the first of several artists who will be contributing to the campaign. Each week a new artist will present a piece, with Mark Wallinger next in line. The campaign is encouraging arts supporters to sign an online petition to be sent to U.K. Culture Secretary Jeremy Hunt in order to prevent drastic fund cuts to a globally admired arts culture that, according to Save the Arts, has taken 50 years to build.
