Disabled Comedian Fronts Spots from Grey London

Disability charity Scope tackles the embarrassment and awkwardness that able-bodied people feel when faced with a disabled person, in a series of three PSAs by Grey London. Directed by Jeff Low via Biscuit Filmworks, the ads are fronted by disabled comedian Alex Brooker, who analyzes the situation and explains how to "end the awkward" in moments such as having to shake a one-handed person's hand, saying hello to someone in a wheelchair, or trying to flirt with a deaf person. According to research by Scope, 'millennials' are twice as likely as older people to feel awkward around disabled people, with one fifth of 18-35 year olds saying that they have actually avoided talking to a disabled person because they weren't sure how to communicate with them.
