McKinney Campaign for the Venerable German Brand Also Includes New York City Stunt Marketing

Sometimes a dignified German brand will tire of being a dignified German brand, and thus will greenlight a campaign that is whimsical and silly -- but still, on some level, kinda German. Witness this McKinney campaign for Sennheiser's new Urbanite headphones, which stars a lewd, ear-loving headphone who's into things like massage therapy, psychoanalysis (see above) and ogling ears in parks. The tagline is "Let your ears be loved."

He's also looking to get himself onto as many pairs of New York ears as possible, and to help out with that, McKinney's done something clever. They've hidden a thousand pairs of golden ears around New York City, and sharing one of these videos on one of your social networks earns you a clue about where they are. Details here.
