Shark: Stovetop

Published on

Editor's Pick

Greasy, grinning macho bodybuilders personify dirt on your stovetop in this hilarious campaign from Japan promoting Shark's steam cleaner. In a "tutorial video," Shark demonstrates how its dry steam power removes all traces of oil as a group of shiny, slick body builders in skimpy underpants are comically blasted with a giant steam spray, while the spot above shows the guys in miniature, posing on the stovetop. The campaign was dreamed up by Saatchi & Saatchi Tokyo -- where whoever thought of connecting dirt with bodybuilders just might be a genius.

Here's a translation of the film above:

Steam is powerful.
Slimy. Sticky.
Grease stains on the stovetop.
Shark with its 100 Degrees Dry Steam melts away tough grease stains easily.
Cleaning is steam power.
Goodbye, grease stains.
Steam is Shark.
Spring cleaning campaign is on now.
